My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sophie, a 10-year-young cutie who was picked up as a stray in a feral colony about four months ago (the regular feeder didn't recognize her and when she approached, Sophie was so friendly!).

She is already spayed, and she has since had her labs done and is healthy as a horse. Well, a cat. :)

Since becoming fostered, she has gone from skinny to a little chonk. Lol. She is a total love, and definitely has some sass and playful energy about her.

The reason her current foster would like to find another foster (or ideally a forever home) is because she has a large dog, and over time it's become apparent that he causes her to be stressed. The thought was that she would adapt, and she is doing OKAY, but unless he is either gone or sleeping, she tends to hide a lot. When he is away, she really comes out of her shell and is more confident in being the queen of the castle.

She is a total sweetheart and has a little scarred nose (and what looks like freckles) but it doesn’t bother her one bit and she’s perfectly healthy.

Sophie will be an amazing pet to someone who doesn’t want a high maintenance kitten or cat as she is happy sleeping in a sun puddle all day, loves to be brushed and will give you baths when she is really in a loving mood.

If you’d like to foster or adopt this sweet girl, please contact Debbie at 415-548-0824.
