Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jolene, originally named Mama Periwinkle, was pulled with the thought that she might be pregnant and she was also confirmed heart worm positive. Sam and Raymond, previous adopters of Love Dogs, stepped up to foster her through this difficult journey. Well, it turns out she isn't pregnant which was great news for Jolene! She immediately started heartworm treatment and is now ready for a home of her own. She will be coming back to the farm June 23rd and is available for adoption. Read some words from her foster dads below!

Jolene... so sweet, gentle and kind. She interacts with our pack of three dogs with zero issues. She has a very calm and submissive energy. Jolene is very quiet but when she does sound off she definitely sounds like a beagle. She has chunky beagle legs and paws and I love how her toe beans are different spotted colors, pink and black.
She’s a low rider, loves to poke and sniff around the property. Jolene is very curious about our male cat but also respectful of him. What a good girl! She’s polite inside the house, very well housebroken, eats well and is fantastically good walking on the leash. Jolene has a happy spirit that comes out in tail wags and wide open mouth, tongue out smiles. Her big wide tail that you’ll hear thumping the floor or furniture when it’s wagging.
Jolene loves to snuggle and sleep behind my knees when I invite her onto the couch with me to watch tv after everyone else has gone to bed.
She needs to stay calm and contained during the heart worm treatment which hasn’t been too difficult.. she's a pretty calm doggie. She gets excited to go out with the other dogs, but once outside she likes to slowly wander. We’ve been letting her out off leash after we've had time to get to know and trust.. and she always stays close to us or if alone she circles the house and comes back to the door.
Jolene would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a low key, get along, lovely little dog!
