Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey Friends! I’m Tucker and I already love you. I know we haven’t met yet, but so far in my 9 months I love all the people and dogs I meet, so I just know I will love you, too. I'm a big boy at about 70 lbs. currently! Some of my favorite things? I love sticks, and sticks, and toys and sticks. I’m sweet to my toys and don’t destroy them, but I can shred some sticks! My other favorite thing is playing with my doggie foster brother. My foster mom has taught me how to sit and wait for food, walk nicely on a leash (although sometimes I really want to chase those squirrels) and at night, I enjoy cuddling on the bed until my foster parents fall asleep and then I prefer my own dog bed. Although I love to play, I’m also really good at chilling on the couch with my head in a lap. I don’t jump on people or chew on things, and I will let you know when the Amazon man is at your door. Oh wait, I almost forgot…. I really like water- showers, baths, pools, the rain. I get most of my zoomies out when it’s raining cause that’s how much I love water. I have a super shiny coat of fur that is the softest ever and somehow doesn’t shed too much. I hope I can meet you soon and learn about you!
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
