Hi! My name is Jojo. I'm a German Shepherd mix, 2.5 years old, 50 lbs, & I have a tan & black coloring.
I used to be more of a shy girl when I first got here, but I've opened up quite a bit! I still have my moments, but I'm definitely more social than I used to be. I do still have issues with anxiety though, specifically separation anxiety, which is my main problem. I HATE being alone. I can be very clingy with people & I don't like to have to be on my own too long. I chew on the kennel here every once in a while, & I've broken out of crates & screen doors before. I cry for anyone who will come save me from the torture of loneliness! It's really only with people though. I don't necessarily dislike other animals, but we're not always friends, either. Some I've been okay with, some not. Moreso smaller dogs I haven't gotten along with in the past. I couldn't tell you how I'd be with cats, though. Kids would be okay, though! As long as they're not TOO crazy & up in my face, then I wouldn't be a fan. Maybe skip the toddler phase for me so they can have a little more control around nervous & anxious animals like myself. But even so, a family would actually be preferred if possible! That way I'll always have plenty of people around to keep me company! But if it's just a couple of people, I wouldn't complain either. As long as you can keep me properly stimulated, I'll be an awesome girl to have around your home! I'll have plenty of love to give to anyone & everyone around! & if you can't, weeeell, I hope you're not too attached to your furniture, y'know what I mean?
