My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**SASSY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Pal's Place would love to introduce you to one of our newest rescues, sweet Sassy! Sassy is a gorgeous female German Shepherd that came to us from an overburdened animal control facility in rural eastern Kentucky. This lovely lady is estimated to be around 5 years old and weighs in at 60 pounds. She is a true gem of a dog. She is friendly, engaging, affectionate, and mild-mannered and will make any Shepherd lover very happy. True to her breed, she is loyal and bonds closely with her humans, and wants nothing more than to please. She is currently being fostered with several other dogs and gets along just fine in the pack, but she can be opinionated and does not always like to share her things with the other dogs. She is much more interested in being around people than she is in the other dogs. We think she'd be happiest as the only dog in the home or with a submissive larger male companion. She is energetic and playful and will do best with an active family. Sassy is well behaved in the home, crate trained, and housebroken. We expect that she will be a popular lady, get your application in today! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet her forever family. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $375. This fee covers the cost of her spay, vaccines, microchip, and initial de-worming. Sassy is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an application has been received and approved. For more information or an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit our website at www.palsplacerescue.org

• We cannot place holds on our dogs for more than a few days after an application has been received and approved for a meeting. Therefore, please do not apply to adopt unless you are ready to welcome a dog into your home.

• Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $375. This fee helps to cover any necessary medical care to prepare our dogs for adoption. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other animals like Sassy from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application or visit http://palsplacerescue.org/adopt/ and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Also, please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes, the applications end up in there!

• All of our dogs in foster homes can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an approved application has been received. To receive more info, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
