~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CUPID is a super sweet goofy hound. He came to rescue as a stray from one of our shelter partners & has enjoyed learning that life as an inside dog is paw-some!
Cupid is housetrained & okay on a leash. Cats & dogs of all sizes are cool with him, but no small furry critters please. He adores people of all types... especially ones who have food bowls or snacks to share. Guilting you into sharing your human dinner is a favorite hobby!
He loves to run with his dog buddies & chill with his humans. A canine sibling would be fantastic, but this love bug is willing to consider life as a SHD (single hound dog) for the right family.
If you think CUPID is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption application today!
CUPID is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.
An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption
Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption!
More about this rescue
K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore is an all breed, 501c3 rescue dedicated to improving the lives of dogs on the Eastern Shore & other under-served areas. The organization was established in 2016 by dedicated animal lovers who worked in conjunction with one another to improve the lives of dogs on the Eastern Shore. We strongly believe that all dogs matter, regardless of size, breed, age or health condition.
Our mission is to rescue the abandoned, neglected, abused, sick and injured from some of the most unthinkable circumstances. We provide medical attention and rehabilitate the dogs that enter our rescue program. Once medical and behavioral issues have been rectified, our dogs are then made available for adoption to qualified, loving homes.
