My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gigi is in NJ!!

Gigi is very happy to be in a foster home where she is getting healthy food & treats, soft beds and lots of love. Something she probably never experienced before.

Gigi foster mom says….”Gigi is gorgeous. She has shinny beautiful black coat, with 4 white socks and big eyes! Gigi spends her days exploring in the yard and playing with toys. And, she LOVES playing with my dog! Gigi is so funny! She does the army crawl when she is on the grass and when she gets excited and runs….she hops!! She is just so cute! Gigi sleeps through the night without having accidents and she is doing good with house training. Gigi is Super sweet and we just love her!”

Gigi is shy but so very sweet and she is learning to trust people. When you meet her or in new surrounds, Gigi needs time to adjust and then she warms up. Gigi needs a family that has the patience to make her feel comfortable and that can spend time teaching her that she is safe. (No children under 15 years old.) We are sure if you adopt Gigi, she will be devoted, loving companion. Gigi just need the right person to call their own.

Gigi is about 8-9 months old and weight about 20 pounds. She was found as a stray on the rual streets of NC and brought to a over populated shelter in NC. At the shelter, Gigi completely shut down. The nice people at the shelter worked with her and she came out of her shell. When FHDR heard about how sweet Gigi is, we brought her to NJ to live in a foster home. It took a little time for Gigi to know she was ok and safe in her foster home. She is doing really good and she even learned to sit on command and comes when called. Since Gigi LOVES her foster’s dog, who showed her everything is ok, we would like Gigi to be in a home with another dog. We know when you meet her, you will fall in love with her too!

If you have a furever home for this pup, please email us at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com for an adoption application. To see more photos or to see Furever Home Dog Rescue's other rescue pups up for adoption, go to www.fhdr.petfinder.com

The breed this pet is listed as is Furever Home Dog Rescue's best guess as we have no background info on who the mom and dad are.

Furever Home Dog Rescue does not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported to NJ.
