Dalia is a very sweet, playful, and loving cat. She is prone to getting scared easily, so she will do best in a quiet household. She loves getting chin scratches and rubs and will roll over and show you her belly as a sign of appreciation. She also loves playing tag with her wand toy. She loves counter surfing / sitting on her cat tree and looking out the window. Dalia does not have any anger or temperament issues; however, she absolutely hates being picked up. She is also good at letting you know when she’s done with her cuddles via a quick harmless tap. She also doesn’t like it when you stop her cuddles too early! All in all, she would be the perfect companion for a quiet household, preferably with no other pets as she is prone to getting scared.

She loves rolling on her belly and purring loudly as a way to say thanks after she’s done being scratched and petted.

When Dalia was rescued, it was discovered that she had a growth in her ear. She was properly treated and is completely healed. I mention this because she has had to endure a lot of vet visits at a very young age. Thus, it will take her a bit of time to come around and trust. She’s dealt with unknown strangers poking and messing with her ear, so naturally she will be scared. It is important for the adoptee to allow her the space and comfort to come around on her own terms. Once she comes around, she’s gonna be giving you a lot of love and headbutts.

Dalia is an amazing cat who has been through a lot for someone her age. She is a sweet cat and a perfect companion. She is very playful, very shy, and incredibly sweet. Anyone would be lucky to have her.
