My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the dynamic duo, Daffy and Lena. These two cuties r being given up by their dad, bc he is having to move back to Arizona to live with family.  The family already has 3 rescue cats, and he believes it would be too much for the family, and too hard on these two formerly shy rescue kitties to both make the trip, and assimilate into the family. He has had to make the difficult decision to part w/his two girls. He will be moving mid July, so there is a great need to try to find a new home for these two cuties who, through no fault of their own, will soon be homeless. Their dad's description of them is as follows:
"Both Lena and Daffy r playful and when adopted together will bring a lot of fun and love into your life. Both are non-aggressive eaters, and gladly share their food. They are both litter box trained. And, both are indoors only cats!
Lena has a bit of a high pitched squeak instead of a meow, but it is soft overall. She is a bit on the shy side initially, but will warm up quickly because she loves being petted and being held on your lap. She's a delightful little girl!
Daffy was hard to warm up at first, very shy and timid/reserved, but after a slow couple of months, she is out of her shell, more relaxed and playful and comes up to demand pets."
These girls know each other, are comfortable with each other and would, no doubt, miss each other terribly, and we are very hopeful they can go together as a pair. If necessary, we can split them up, given the right situation for each, but we need to find them their furrever home as soon as possible. They are sweet and loving girls snd could make the right adopter very happy! They will likely do better in a quiet home with quiet, but playful, older children, or just an adult or two, and no other pets.  If you find them as charming as we do, and would b interested in adopting them, please contact Deborah at 510-909-4961 for more information!
