Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AshleyLynn is a sweet, 12-yr old senior tripod lady. She doesn’t mind having 3 instead of 4, as she gets around with no problems.
She is SUPER sweet, loves people of all ages and sizes and is a polite senior girl who doesn’t try to jump up on folks – but she’ll take all the pets and snuggles you’re willing to give her. BONUS! - she can be kept behind a 2-1/2’ gate with no issues.
This girl arrived at Hero Dog Rescue as a forgotten pet during the COVID-19 crisis. At the time, she was only 32 lbs. (small for her size) but today with tons of love, good food and great care, she is a much healthier girl at 55 lbs.
AshleyLynn has few requirements, but there are a few on her “must” list:
1. This girl is BFF “dog selective” in who she makes best friends with when it comes to doggies, and isn’t really “into” cats, so no feline buddies for her in her forever home.
2. Her forever home would need to be one without the challenge of stairs, and an owner who doesn’t require a pup in need of long daily walks, or lots of exercise.
But if you’re into “sunbathing” and being lazy, she’s definitely your girl! Basking in the sun and rolling onto her tummy for rays and lots of tummy rubs is her best vibe! If you’d love a “lay on her back and squiggle in the grass” type of buddy, you’re found the right one!
If all this sounds like AshleyLynn is the perfect girl for you, take the next step by going to www.herorescue.org/adopt to start the process! And if you are already pre-approved and interested in this precious charmer, just send an email to adopt@herorescue.org .
Thank you for considering adopting one of our Hero Dog Rescue babies! Before inquiring, it is important to share a few of our policies:
* Your Current Pets - We do require all your dogs and cats to be current on vaccines and are currently spayed/neutered.
* Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster home-based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt .
* Once your application is approved, it will be sent to the foster family currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home-check prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in our rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org .
