Good Afternoon, my name is Pepper! I am a three year old black male. I was born here at the shelter and have been waiting for my forever family ever since. I'm a shy cat, if you don't know where to look you probably wont see me. But I have a few trustworthy humans who I'm a completely different cat for. When I get to know you and you earn my trust you can expect lap sits and cuddle sessions. I love head scratches and I have been know to have an affinity for computer keyboards. I'm a roller and roll all over when I'm excited for pets. I would need a home that is gentle and understanding with my shyness. I've been waiting for a long time for my new home and I am patiently waiting for the next chapter in my wonderful life. I can't wait to get to know you!

The McPherson County Humane Society (now Cat House McPherson) was founded in 1979. We promote animal welfare and work hard to prevent animal abuse and/or neglect. We constantly stress the need and benefit of having all pets spayed or neutered! We are proud to have a stellar reputation of cleanliness and calmness at our cat shelter, which comfortably houses around 75 cats at any given time. Every one of our cats is tested, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered (age appropriate) before leaving our shelter.
