My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Pistol is ready for his new home!  He is about 6 months old and weighs 8 pounds.  This little cutie was surrendered by his owners because they just didn't want him anymore!  Well we wanted him!  And he is ready for his new life in NY to begin.

Pistol is still just a baby and will need training!  He is learning some basic skills like walking on a leash and being in a crate.  He is still working on his housetraining - he was recently neutered so it will help.  But with his new family's focus on him, he should come along in no time.  Pistol is good with other dogs but can sometimes be a bully to them - typical terrier!!  He picks on the biggest dogs in the house and they let him lol.  He barks at the cats in his foster home.  We think he will be fine with kids as long as they are respectful of him.  He is a happy pup, obedient and playful.  He likes to be outside, which is a help with his housetraining.  He has a fully fenced yard in his foster home but is starting to potty on  a leash.  Pistol can be barky - especially first thing in the morning when he is running outside to greet the day!  Pistol has been professionally groomed and will need regular grooming throughout his life.

Pistol is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $500 to help with with high medical bills of others in our rescue.
