My foster mom works from home and has informed me that her coworkers like me more than her because I like to sit on her shoulder during meetings like a little parrot. Sometimes I even pipe up when I have something important to say ... I mean geeze, did you see the quarterly review last week? I am sweet as they come and want nothing more than a warm lap to fall asleep on and a brother or sister to play with. Did I mention that I absolutely adore other cats? I chase my foster brothers and sisters all day long. Honestly, there's not much more I can tell you other than I'm a sweet little girl who promises to be your very best friend! Take me home with you! Adoption fee: $125. Adopt a pair: $200. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Saturday, August 28, 2021: Bloomfield Hills adoption event at
PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., come meet adoptable pets on the fourth Saturday of every month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Saturday, September 11, 2021: Rochester Hills adoption event at
Petco, 2675 S Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., come meet adoptable pets on the second Saturday of every month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Saturday, September 18-19, 2021: Pet adoptions and vendor/craft show event outside at Frontier Town, 67310 Van Dyke, Washington, MI 48950. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., come meet adoptable pets and shop to support homeless pets. Enjoy shopping the craft vendors, including dog and cat ornaments, pet beds and toy boxes from Paws for Life (100% of proceeds benefit PFL).
NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten
as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
