My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tinkerbell! An (estimated) 14 year old, 13 pound silky terrier mix who loves rolling in soft grass, being spoiled with snuggles and (occasional) snacks and showing her appreciation with kisses.

Found as a stray, Tinkerbell is now looking forward to spending her golden years lounging on the couch with her human companion. She would do best in a home with no other pets. She may be able to live with one other small senior dog but she would strongly prefer to be your one and only.

Tinkerbell takes medication to help her with her continence and it works very well. She benefits from frequent potty breaks during the day, but has been able to make it through the night without any accidents. She has also been diagnosed with the early stage kidney disease that will need to be managed with a prescription diet and medication.

Tinkerbell will need a special adopter. This will be someone who can provide a where Tink is the only animal, as well as keep up with daily meds and veterinary care for her kidney disease and blood pressure.

Tinkerbell is being fostered in Worcester.

The adoption fee is $50.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
