Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max & Bella are as sweet as they are adorable. These two bonded Phantom Miniature Schnauzers are in need of a new home due to no fault of their own - their elderly owners simply can no longer continue to care for them properly. So it is with sadness their owners wish to find them a new home in order to do what's right for them. So if you're looking for 2 babies to nurture, love and dote upon while receiving that love right back then please consider these bonded siblings. They are attached to one another and must be adopted into a home that will keep them together. They have been well cared for - both are spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccinations and provided monthly preventatives as well as annual teeth cleanings. They are house trained, crate trained and know some simple commands. They love people, enjoy leashed walks and if you have a fenced yard for them to romp around in - that's a plus. Their age is approximately 8.5 years old. Since they have not had exposure to being socialized with young children, cats or other pets, a home without may be best. Max has controlled diabetes in which he is given insulin 2x daily and takes it like a champ. His eye sight is not great but seems to be able to see some light and dark. He has early stage pancreatic failure that has been stabilized.
If interested in Max & Bella, please contact adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org and please include a phone number where you can be reached.
Please Note: We are always in need of foster homes. If you're interested in making a difference in a dog’s life, we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent.
