Back in February, we received a plea for help to try and secure two tiny chihuahuas who had been dumped by the ice cream man in a mobile home park in Phoenix. They were so scared, they would not come to anyone. After over four hours of watching the dogs run around the park, they worked up enough of an appetite to enter the humane trap. They were SAFE at last and we could not have been happier.
Nellie and Flynn were so scared and shut down when they first arrived in their foster home. With the patience, love and care of their wonderful foster parents, Nellie and Flynn were able to learn to trust. Now they live for snacks and snuggles. They are truly such a special pair and a total hoot to be around. They enjoy other animals, both canine and feline alike. We believe they are a mother and son bonded pair. Nellie is an absolute cuddle bug who just wants to velcro to her people and get all the affection. Flynn is curious, adventurous, playful, and loves to meet new people. They both love to zoom around and wrestle with each other and other dogs. We are determined to find a family to adopt and adore them as much as we do. They are a bonded pair and absolutely love each other, so they will be adopted out as a pair.They bring so much joy and laughter to all they meet and we can’t wait to see them find their forever home together!
