Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Back in September we received a plea for help from the county shelter. She was a senior, discovered by a Good Samaritan after going through hell. Someone had cut off her ears and thrown her into a dumpster at an apartment complex. When her email came into my inbox and I saw her sweet face, I couldn’t help by cry. She was broken... shut down and hurt. We knew she needed us. Those big brown eyes melted our hearts. Our team picked her up from the shelter and brought her to the hospital.
We gave her the name Penny Lane, as we thought it was as beautiful as she is. She has spent the last few months in her foster home where we have helped heal her broken body and spirit. I am happy to share that Penny Lane has made a full recovery. She is truly a big dog in a little dogs body. She is not a lap dog as she is very independent, easy going and an all around good girl. She does not let the trauma of her past hold her back. Penny Lane is good with other animals. She loves long walks around the neighborhood and "helping" her humans cook dinner. She has such a special twinkle in her eye. I know she is going to make one lucky person so very happy.
