Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jewel!
Jewel is truly a Gem! This 8 year old, 80 pound lab mix is everything that is good about a lab. Jewel will go for extra slow walks with you, and she enjoys a Netflix binge on the couch. She will need a family dedicated to her weight loss, and continue with daily walks and a structured diet. Jewel gets along with all the people she meets and loves other dogs.
Jewel knows how to sit for a treat and does all her business outside. She will follow you around the house and loves a good ear rub. There's a reason that people love the easy going nature of a Lab and Jewel embodies that perfectly. She's a little scared of thunderstorms, but that's just an excuse to cuddle in our opinion, and she is an expert cuddler.
If you are looking for a Jewel to add to your family, well we have got your girl! This silly happy, girl is ready to come home today!

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
