Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frosty and Spotty are a chunky, sweet and gentle pair of three-year-old male American guinea pig brothers looking for a loving guardian together.
These boys like to hide in their hidey hut and snuggle together. They are easy to hold in your arms, but always tough to catch … like all guinea pigs.
Guinea pigs typically eat a diet of unlimited timothy and orchard hays, limited pellets, and fresh vegetables. But, these guys grew up eating only pellets any hay, so I keep trying new greens and veggies, but they haven’t tried any of the greens yet.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Frosty and Spotty, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up for an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
Their adoption fee of $60 each benefits the friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $75, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for the girls including their food, cage, hay, litter, hidey hut, treats, and water bottle.
