My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet girl has just arrived and she is a survivor, having been rescued by a kind family last year from a terrible neglect situation at a petting zoo where many animals died from abuse. Her family took in many pigs from that farm, but found themselves with far more than they anticipated when several pigs ended up being pregnant. They reached out to ask us if we could take in Turk and her friend Kala and we were happy to help!
It is Turk's time to now find her forever home and we want to help her do that! Turk is a bit shy when meeting new people but would fit in well with a herd of pigs or could be adopted with one of her friends here at the farm. She has no known history of living indoors so would be well suited for a beginner pig adopter in a barn set up or an experienced pig adopter who is willing to go through the housebreaking process to help Turk be an indoor pig.
At 1.5 years old she is 65 lbs, but pigs grow until 4-5 years old so we anticipate she will be 80-90 lbs fully grown.
