My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this charming fluffy kitty named Pecan! He and hid siblings came into the shelter as 8 week old kittens early April 2021 and are now awaiting their adoption day. He has tested negative for feline diseases and has been given his dewormer and first round of vaccinations. He is a little shy but super sweet and playful too. Will thrive once in a home where he learns love, human compassion, and learn what it’s like to live in a home. Better to go slow and limit areas where he can go and once he adjust the areas get bigger. Best for all cats. Pecan does well with other cats and would probably prefer to be with another cat or 2. Just the cutest little kitty who will blossom into a gorgeous sweet adult cat if given the fair chance. Maybe you have the most perfect loving FOREVER home Pecan!? Visit with him today and give him a fabulous life he deserves!!?
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that we cannot keep Adopt A Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, beds, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too... and maybe snuggle & love on us while you're here. It would make the cats time here more enjoyable to get love and attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets will honor the voucher 100%) ...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
