Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Beau!
Beau is a gentle and sweet older gentleman at 7 years old and around 8 lbs.
While Beau is crate trained, he would much rather be curled up with his person at night in bed, under the covers. Beau’s love language is all the soft things in your home. He ADORES soft blankets, pillows and fuzzy dog beds. He tends to burrow under whatever blanket he can get to, and is happy to chill out with you for the day.
Beau enjoys going outside and exploring his foster moms fenced in backyard, including baking in the sun when allowed. Surprisingly enough Beau is fully house trained, he had one small little incident when he moved in and hasn’t had an accident inside since!
Beau enjoys his canine foster siblings, but doesn’t play or interact a ton. He does try to cuddle with others, but isn’t fussed if they want very little to do with him or grump at him to go away.
Beau is a tiny bit skinny right now, but he has a great appetite and isn’t the least bit protective of his food bowl or treats. He also does great in the car and is very social with new people when he meets them!
Beau is in great health, but he does have a grade 2 heart murmur. He shows no symptoms at this point and does not need medication.
If you are looking for a chilled and laid back sweet soul, Beau will happily be by your side.
He is neutered, UTD on shots, HW Negative and on HW preventative.
His adoption donation is $300.00.
If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below.
To submit an application go here……chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/
An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
