My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Piper! One of our rescue volunteers witnessed another puppy, Ginger, being dumped out in front of her house on the road just a block from a busy freeway. She scooped her up immediately so she would not get hit by a car and took her inside for the night until we could find an open foster home for her. Just a week later, the same volunteer found what we believe to be Ginger's sisters, Ellie and Piper, lying in the yard of a neighboring abandoned house. It appears that whomever dumped Ginger, dumped her sisters a couple of houses down the block. She immediately brought them home so they would be safe. They had fun playing with the kids at her home and had started working on crate training and housetraining. All three sisters are now reunited and all are in the same foster home together.

Piper is the only all tan puppy of the three sisters. She loves playing with other dogs and has been having fun playing in the baby pool with her sisters. She is loving and sweet. She has the cutest face that will melt your heart. How can you even say "no" to that face!? She will continue to work on her house training and crate training with her new foster.

We think Piper and her sisters are Beagle mixes, although there is really no telling what mix of breeds they are without a definitive DNA test. Whatever Piper is, she is beautiful! We think she will be a medium-sized dog when fully grown.

Piper's adoption fee is $650; however we will require an additional $100 spay deposit that will be refunded to her adopter upon showing proof of spay when she is old enough to be spayed at 6 months of age (spaying is REQURIED per our adoption contract). Ground transport from Houston, TX to the Chicago, IL area is included in the adoption fee. Transport is arranged upon completion of adoption paperwork. We can set up virtual meet-and-greets with PRE-APPROVED adopters. You must fill out our adoption application and become an approved adopter prior to asking us to set up a virtual meet-and-greet. Piper is currently in her foster home in Sheridan, TX and will remain there until adopted.
