Little Mia got the boot from her home because of a new baby. That stinks big time, she is just a baby herself. Even after a few days Mia still looks for her family when we take her outside pacing back and forth out of concussion. She is easy to get outside and walks nicely on leash. She’s a little potato, kind of short and square in all the adorable ways.
Mia allows handling all over and will stop for pets and comforting. She doesn’t appear to know any commands and isn’t motivated by treats or toys right now. We think there is a playful puppy under her sadness and see glimpses of it. Hopefully sooner than later Mia feels comfortable enough to be happy and playful but finding a loving family would definitely accelerate the process.
Surrender notes: surrendered due to new baby, lived with kids 14-18 years, no other pets in the home, very playful
