My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FRANK (like his pal BEAN) is an adorable, shy, and young dog. A chihuahua minpin looking boy, he came to the local shelter with Bean as extremely fearful stray puppies. They were so fearful at the shelter that shelter staff couldn't take them out on leash. They lived inside a shelter kennel too scared to move. They have been decompressing and learning to trust while in foster care.

FRANK currently lives with multiple dogs. He is very dog social and playful. He is still sometimes frighten by loud noises and sudden movements so a non-apartment home without small children would be best. He would enjoy a home with some fenced or enclosed yard space as Frank loves to roll in the sun and explore.

Frank is the more curious and social of the two. Frank has become a cuddler and seeks out interaction and pets from his fosters. Bean is further behind in his confidence building and is still fearful of the human touch, esp by strangers.

We are accepting applications for Frank & Bean together. We will also consider applications for each individually if the home is a good fit. Both dogs would require a small dog companion in the home.
