Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This extremely handsome little guy is Cruz. He is very sweet and happy, but he is a little shy. When he meets strangers or he is scared, he is cautious, which might make him come across as not being overly friendly. Give him a little bit and he’ll be your best friend forever. He’s always happy to see me, meeting me at the gate jumping up and down and wagging his tail ninety to nothing. I’m pretty sure a lot of that cautiousness will diminish once he gets settled into a permanent home with his very own family…I can see a change in him every day. Because he likes a little less action, he will do better in a more settled/quiet home without small kids. Cruz gets along great with other dogs, so maybe a new doggie brother or sister, who’s not too overly active, would be in the cards for him. He is 1 year old and weighs 12 pounds. He has been completely vetted, including neuter, 4DX heartworm test, microchip, fecal test, all vaccinations, worming and he is on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.
Cruz is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we are not accepting applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine on him since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
