My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casper is a handsome golden retriever. As a retired breeder, he hasn't known the joys of being a pet. He is playful and loves toys. He is shy when there are people around but is coming out of his shell. He requires another well socialized dog in the home. He would do best in a home with older children. We don't know how he is around cats. He requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Casper is 4 years old. His current weight is around 65 pounds.

The minimum donation for Casper is $500.00. This includes all of his vetting. If you are interested in Casper, please fill out an online application through our website.

Then meet him at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm by appointment only. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
