Dougal does it right. He is quiet in his kennel and easy to get outside. We noticed immediately that he has an indentation around his neck from a long worn collar. Besides being well fed, clean, and happy, the collar indentation all adds up to Dougal coming from a home. Yet he is still at the shelter. Dougal has shinny white teeth he flashes when he grins which is almost all the time. He knows basic commands and gives both paws for shakes. We are suckers for a good paw shake! He allows handling all over and takes treats gently. Dougal loves to play with toys too. He’s checking off all the hunk and very good boy boxes.
