My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kay A227409

Kay is a 1 year old female who came into the shelter on 5/12 as an owner surrender.

Every kiss begins with Kay. Or at least it should with this Kay. She’s a young dog but isn’t the typical rambunctious energy we see. She was calm in kennel and easy to leash. Once outside she was a no pulled type stroll in the yard, even with other dogs near. Kay comes when called and sits on command. She takes treats gently and allows handling all over. Kay is a big girl but didn’t jump for attention or invade our personal space when crouched down on her level. She played a little with toys but was more than happy to walk around the lot taking in all the smells and getting her bearings. Kay will make some family’s dreams come true if she’s given the chance.

Surrender notes: elderly owner that can’t care for dog
