Lady is a 9 year old female who came into the shelter on 5/10 as an owner surrender.

Lady is lost. After 9 years she is without her person when they got sick and could no longer stay in their home. She looks well cared for and came in happy. Lady has a round body from meals a plenty so we know food wasn’t scarce. She is easy to leash and does more of a waddle than a walk when we take her out. Lady has all the finer qualities of a gal her age. She knows commands and has a mellow energy. Lady sits without being asked and takes treats gently. Lady loves to lean her whole body in for snuggles and never jumped up for attention. She’s only ever known a home so let’s get her back in one to live in the comforts she deserves.

Surrender notes: can’t care for due to owner going into hospital, got from friend 9 years ago, lived with kids (no age given). lived with big dogs, doesn’t get along with small dogs.
