Wanda is a 1 year old female who came into the shelter on 5/8 as a stray.

Wanda….magical superhero….or suburban mom? Why not both? Wanda was eager to come out of her cage and explore the yard. She was excited to be outside and pulled on the leash this way and that way. (I bet she wishes she could fly - exploring would be a lot easier). Wanda takes treats gently and eats them slowly. She’s affectionate and loves to climb up on your shoulders and hug you. Wanda was curious about other dogs, but would bark a bit when they got closer to our run. Perhaps she was warning us against a new invasion? Wanda would love to find her way into a forever home, curl up on the couch with you and watch sitcom marathons. Let’s make that happen for her.
