Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IN Lexington, KY
This handsome guy is Warrin and he is 4 years old. He came into rescue with a lot of stress and anxiety issues. Using different training methods, we have worked extensively on making him realize that the things that trigger him are no big deal and nothing bad happens, basically through desensitization. Although he does have a bite history, since working with him, he has learned that there is no longer a need to do so.
Warrin needs an adopter that has experience with herding breed dogs. Someone that will continue to work with him on his anxiety, using the techniques implemented by his foster/trainer and keep him away from over stimulating situations.
Warrin is neutered, HW-, current on immunizations and on preventatives. He is housebroken and crate trained. He loves to cuddle with his people and lay at their feet. He loves to play ball, get brushed and go for walks.
In the wrong home, Warrin will revert back to his old behaviors. In the right home, he will be the most perfect and amazing little boy who will love you forever and fill your life with so much joy.
If you are experienced with herding breeds and can continue with the training and guidance that he needs, please fill out our application.
