Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Fawn is being fostered in PA. She is accepting applications.
What Fawn's foster mom has to say about Fawn:Fawn is a sweet and gentle older girl who adores people. Fawn lives with her foster mom, other dogs and two cats who she is very compatible with. Since Fawn is a bit older, a home with high energy dogs who will want to play with her is not recommended. She is potty trained and leash trained. Fawn does not have access to the door to go outside so it is not known if she will go to the door when she has to go to the bathroom. She does very well if carried outside every 3-4 hours. She will have a pee accident if she is left much more than 5 hours. She usually makes it through the night without having an accident.
Fawn came to her foster home needing to lose a little weight so she is working hard at that. She has lost about 1 ½ pounds so far! She needs to have a dental done on June 18th and it is anticipated that she will lose many, if not all of, her teeth. After she recovers from that surgery, she will be ready to find her forever home!
Fawn is a low maintenance girl who follows her foster mom all around the house. She does not like it if she cannot be in the same room with her foster mom and will bark if there is a gate in between the two of them. She has some vision and has no problems navigating her new foster home. She can also find her way back into the house after being taken out to play or to go potty. Because of her lack of vision, Fawn becomes nervous and will shake if she is unsure of a new situation but she does find comfort in being held and talked to by her human. She loves licking her person's face when she is happy.
Fawn rides very well in the car, settling in on the seat to take a nap shortly after starting off on her trip.
Fawn loves meal times and will let her foster mom know when that time is! She spends the majority of the day napping and being such a good girl. She will make a great companion for someone who is looking for a sweet girl to cuddle with and take on car rides.
