Schnucki
Est. DOB: July 5, 2019
Description: DSH Orange Tabby
Gender: Male
Handsome Schnucki is initially shy but becomes affectionate and playful once he’s comfortable in a home. When Schnucki explores, he usually trills a happy song, and likes to tell people all about his day. He likes to fetch spring toys and will run around to chase a feather on a string or shoelace or laser pointer. He also enjoys catnip toys and spending time on the screened-in porch at his foster home. He loves to rub the corners of his mouth against your fingers and receive chin and back scratches. He is not a lap cat but does like to hang out with his humans and gets really into some good scritches! His days usually end with a good bout of the zoomies all over the house. Schnucki does not get along with aggressive or dominant cats, but he does enjoy the company of kittens, chill adult cats, and people. He tends to be anxious, especially when in new situations or when there are loud noises and takes a while to adjust to a new house.
Originally adopted as a kitten, Schnucki came back to us due to bullying by the original cat in his adoptive household.
Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.
