My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome to kitten season! We have a sweet litter that was born on Mother's Day Eve and will be ready for adoption (along with their mom after she's spayed) around July 4th when they reach eight weeks of age. At that time they will have had their first distemper vaccine and be microchipped. With the holiday around the corner, we've decided to allow for a "pre-adoption," meaning you can do the paperwork early and then take your cat/kittens home next month. As always, we give preference to families who would like to adopt more than one...either a sibling group or mom and baby (we offer a discount for two or more). Kitties do extremely well in pairs...they keep each other company and love to play together. If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application which can be found on the Shadow Cat website. If you're approved, you will then be able to set up a 'meet and greet' to make your final decision. If you choose to move forward, you'll sign a contract and pay the adoption fee up front in order for the cats to be reserved for you until they reach 8 weeks old and have been vetted.

This is Phil! He's the only little boy of the litter and is so handsome. He's mostly gray with some white on his face that makes a cute peak on his forehead. He also has a white collar and an adorable gray dot on his white belly. Such a precious boy...he loves to be petted and will offer his soft belly to be scratched. He likes to romp and play with toys, especially ones with feathers. He just learned to climb stairs and is so proud of himself.

Recently I made a playpen out of lots of pillows and put several toys inside...the kitties loved it. Guess who wanted to explore the area outside of my little fortress?! Phil is such an adventurer! And he can't wait to meet his new family...
