My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing sweet Roxie. She was a neighborhood cat who roamed around a local community and was fed by several people. When she became pregnant our organization was called and she went to live with a caring foster. On Mother's Day Eve she gave birth to five healthy and adorable kittens...Roxie are available to be adopted after the kittens are weaned (around July 4th) and she has been spayed. However we're taking applications now, and once approved you can set up a 'meet and greet.'

Roxie is a striking calico (gray, white and tan) who we estimate is under two years old. She's never met a stranger, meaning that as soon as she meets someone new she goes right up to them to say hello...everyone falls in love with her. She's very gentle and enjoys being petted...she'll head butt you for a scratch and will purr to say thank you. Her personality shines through when she's around her kittens...she's the most incredibly attentive mama ever. Even after they learned to eat food on their own, mama would stand back until they had their fill before enjoying her own meal.

Roxie really likes to watch 'cat TV' (re: looking out the window). She'll chase a feather bird on a string and might proudly carry it in her mouth when she catches it. One time when she was in the screened porch she managed to find a gecko and play with it....no worries, it was put outside to live another day. One of It's no surprise that Roxie's favorite things to play with is a little stuffed mouse that she bats around, chases and tosses in the air.

Roxie can tell time! She knows exactly when it's time for a meal, and will 'talk' to her foster mom to remind her the clock is ticking. If she hears a can opening in the kitchen, she's there in a flash. But even though she's a gourmet, she still has a very sleek physique! This pretty girl loves exploring new things around the house and would be the perfect family pet!
