Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet cute little Ginger! One of our rescue volunteers witnessed Ginger being dumped out on the road just a block from a busy freeway. She scooped her up immediately so she would not get hit by a car and took her home for the night until we could find an open foster home for her. While she was at the volunteer's house, she had so much fun playing with the kids there and also started working on her housetraining.
Ginger has progressed more at her foster home. She loves playing with other dogs and gets along fine with the foster's cats. She is very friendly with people and likes to give kisses. She has continued to work on housetraining and has also been crate trained. She is absolutely adorable and has the softest, kindest eyes.
Our vet thinks Ginger is a Beagle mix, although there is really no telling what mix of breeds she is without a definitive DNA test. Whatever she is, she is a cutie patootie! We think she will be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. She also has two sisters, Ellie and Piper, who are also available for adoption.
Ginger's adoption fee is $650; however we will require an additional $100 spay deposit that will be refunded to her adopter upon showing proof of spay when she is old enough to be spayed at 6 months of age (spaying is REQURIED per our adoption contract). Ground transport from Houston, TX to the Seattle, WA area is included in the adoption fee. We set up virtual meet-and-greets with PRE-APPROVED adopters. You must fill out our adoption application and become an approved adopter prior to asking us to set up a virtual meet-and-greet. Ginger has been vaccinated and microchipped. Ginger is currently in her foster home in Sheridan, TX and will remain there until adopted.
