My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FLUFFY was brought to foster care May 22, 2021 with her 2 house companions: Marvelous and Fabulous. I was told that she didn’t like other cats.

After a week in a pet crate in the living room the gate was opened. She ran into the adjustment room, the bathroom. She jumped up onto the window shelf and enjoyed looking out. She is usually found at a window, her favorite pass-time .

Another favorite thing is to get strokes and more strokes. When I first stroked her I discovered that she has a SHORT tail and, of course, a matching short torso

She also has extra toes..

As of just 2 weeks being here, she comes running when she sees me of get attention.

I just discovered that she also likes for me to switch a rope for her to grab.

Regarding other cats: she ignores them as long as no one is in her way. Twice I’ve seen her slap at a cat she saw as being in her way.

She has taken to wanting to be in my lap when I’m in my easy chair.

If she sounds like a cat you’d love to have as a companion, read of our adoption process below then call Kay: 313-891-2591

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. We DO NOT have an online application.

2. We talk with interested parties VIA PHONE. I’m home most of the time. Call between 9 am and 8 pm.

3. If this sounds like a possible match, we arrange for the cat to be met which is USUALLY at Greenwood Pets and Plants,

13983 E. 9 mi (3 blocks east of Schoenherr) by appointment

4. When a person meets a cat at Greenwood and wants to adopt him/her, a paper application is filled out, then the contract is studied,

if found agreeable, the applicant signs, makes an adoption donation, takes the cat home. (adopter provides a cat carrier)

5. DIRECTIONS are given for introducing the cat to his/her new home.

6. In about 8 to 14 days a call is made to hear about the steps that were taken to introduce the cat to his/her new home

and find out how the cat has adjusted.

The adopter is asked to send pics of their adopted cat.
