Prissy Pants is an around three year old Chihuahua. Her name says it all; she is a bouncy, active, and curious sweetheart. She loves life, her people and her canine friends. She is a best match for a smaller, laid back, playful friend. She would do better in a home with no cats because she has a tendency to love them a little too much ?. Prissy can have some difficulty sharing and would need a family that is willing to work with her on this, and has no small children. Prissy is house and crate trained and would require a fenced in yard for safety, as she is a wonderer. Prissy Pants has some medical needs that area typical of her breed but aren’t currently severe enough to require surgical intervention. Prissy has luxating patelleas in both knees, a slightly enlarged heart, a slightly collapsed trachea, arthritis in her neck and right knee, and a prior injury to her right ankle (which has since healed). It is believed that Prissy experienced some trauma, as the severity of her injuries is on her right side, which would explain why she has so many ailments at such a young age. She also has a history of cherry eye. So Prissy will need a family that is ready to take on her sparkling personality and her little broken body.
