My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our loverboy Luxe is ready for his new home. Luxe was found in a popular “dumping ground” outside of Apache Junction. Why? We’re still not sure because Luxe’s foster family can’t stop gushing about what an amazing and loving dog he is. Between 1-2 years old, Luxe is a very true-to-type Cattle Dog – he loves farm animals and has even tried to herd the neighbor’s cattle. We recently tested his herding instinct with sheep, and he passed with flying colors! This cool dude would love to have a job to focus his energy into. Even though he has a high work drive, Luxe is quite stable-minded and takes direction well. He can be easily shaped into more handler focused activities like Rally, Dock-Diving, etc. Luxe is very dog-social and is looking for a home where he will have at least one fur-friend to play with. Do you have any littles? Luxe gets along with small dogs, too! This all-around great pup is the best of both worlds. He has the energy to run and hike, but can chill and hang out during the slower moments of the day, too. We would love to find Luxe a home with someone who appreciates his breed and is excited to invest in continuing to shape this young guy to be the best family-dog around.
