Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Monkey and The Hooligans!
Adoption fees reduced to $200 (each)!
The hooligans are still here and waiting to go home with you. We mean this in the best sense of the word. Specifically, we are referring to Monkey, Sir Bear, and Mister who are the most playful, funny, affectionate, needy, Velcro cats that you will ever meet. They would love to go home to a family that is energetic and outgoing. They would probably do great with children as well.
Originally, Sir Bear and Mr. were a little bit rough, but they are not like that anymore. They are perfectly wonderful and would do well in any home.
Monkey 🐒 is a fabulous Brown tabby with white Maine coon mix with quite a voice. If you are looking for a singing 🎵 partner, she’s the one for you. she would do well as an only cat or she could also go home with another cat. She is very cat friendly. She loves people, and she wants nothing more than to stay with you and be with you every minute of every day. She would love a home where she would get a lot of attention.
If you are interested in adopting any of the three or a pair, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. They are in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Each cats adoption fee has been dropped from $250-$200.
Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
