My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Ducky. I'm an Alaskan Husky/Terrier mix, 2 years old 28 lbs, & I have a white coloring with just a bit of black on my back.

I'm the first of the gang of 4! I came in with my siblings Gecko, Moby, & Panda, after our owner unfortunately passed away. We were all sort of junkyard dogs, so coming here has been kind of a shock to our systems. We're all settling in pretty well for the most part though. We all went to go see the doctor, they poked us with some needles, got some medicine to get the fleas off us & get rid of our tapeworms. (Those things were crawling around all over inside of us. I even saw them still moving when we pooped 'em out. It was weird!)

We may all be family, but we've all got completely different personalities! Or well, "Dogalities." They can tell you more about themselves, but as for me, I'm sort of the jack of all trades of the group. While the others have their quirks, I've got a little bit of everything from each of them, so not one thing stands out above the others. I've got a little bit of shyness from Gecko, the sassiness & big mouth from Moby, & a touch of confidence & coolness under pressure from Panda (At least when other dogs are around to back me up!). I'm the smallest of the bunch by a good 10-15 lbs, so sometimes they like to think just 'cause I'm little they can be the boss & be dominant over me, but I'm a feisty little girl! I'll put them in their place no problem! I don't take no quack from anyone!

We may have had a rough go at it for a while at the start, but we're all ready to find our new homes & look towards a better future!

I'm up to date on shots, spayed chipped, & ready to go! If you're feeling lucky, why don't you stop on by & see Ducky!
