Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chinny is about 1 year old and 8 lbs. She was found on the streets of Houston as stray which is crazy to think this tiny 8lb little girl was on her own. Despite her past , she is a super happy dog who is great with all people and dogs & cats. Chinny is kennel trained as well. She is not yet fully house trained but is really well for only being off very long. She does great when kept on a feeding schedule and not allowed to free feed.
Chinny would love a home where she can snuggle and nap with you, but she is good to go for walks as well. She isn't a barker so she would do well in an apartment.
The vet estimated her to be between 8-12 months so she will require a basic obedience class.
Chinny will be arriving in Madison June 13th. Due to her small size we do require all children in the home be over the age of 10.
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
