Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Athena is a shy five-year-old girl, living as an "outside" her whole life. She is in foster care with her daughter, Elizabeth, and tends to be bossy with her.
Athena is a playful and active girl. She’s a very vocal dog and lets you know what she wants or needs. She loves to be petted and loves when all the attention is on her. Athena can be strong willed but is a joy to train and is motivated by any type of meat! She specifically loves hot dogs and sausage. She has strong protection instincts and is always making sure her foster family is safe.
Athena enjoys walks and hikes to explore. Her foster family is working on leash training to stop Athena from pulling. She is fully house-trained and hasn’t had an accident in the house. She’s like a little cow and delights in snacking on grass! She can be shy with strangers at first, but loves attention from new people. She loves to get kisses from her humans. She also loves to chew, and stuffed animals are her favorite! Athena is very calm and sleeps most of the day. She’s suspicious of other dogs and her foster family is working on getting her more socialized.
