Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I love Ziggy but he is too much dog for me. I am 67 and my health and financial situation has changed. He needs an active owner that can walk and play with him more than I can. Ziggy is neutered over a month and has all his shots (VCA). He’s chipped and is on Simparica Trio (heart worm and flea).
I rescued him at 6-8 weeks from a bad situation in Bastrop: multiple puppies under a trailer. The woman lied, saying he would be small (parents no where to be seen). She said he was a dachshund mix and he is long, but he is more German Shepard. He is 8 months now and 30 pounds, but very strong, which is my problem. I am having issues with him on the leash. He is not dog aggressive but pulls and needs more leash training than I am able to give. He sits and shakes for treats.
He can do a crate and loves his yard, but he is mostly inside. I've let him loose in the house for several hours without any big issues.
He's a sweet guy and I will miss him, but he deserves better. Connie
