Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Papa Smurf first came to Camern Animal Hospital three years ago from a hoarding situation. He was scared, malnourished, and had a horrible mouth infection. After being nursed back to health he found a wonderful home, and with patience and love he started to trust, and show what a sweet, loving cat he is. Tragically, his owner passed away earlier this year, and Papa Smurf now needs a new home.
Papa Smurf is FeLV/FIV (-/-), fully vaccinated, fecal tested, and neutered. His mouth has healed, and he is completely healthy. He is a quiet boy who will need time and patience to learn to trust you, but once he does, he is a wonderful, quiet companion. He likes to cuddle close, likes being pet, and generally likes to keep you company. He will be a wonderful work from home companion, or a friend to sit on the couch and watch TV with you.
Papa Smurf can be dog tested upon request, and has been ok with other cats, but is equally comfortable as an only pet. Young or high energy children wouldn't be a good fit for him. He needs a calm, quiet home with patient, experienced owners.
If Papa Smurf sounds like the guy for you email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.
