Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kobe was found abandoned in the middle of the COVID pandemic.
He ventured into a Queens backyard where, unfortunately, the family was unable to take him in due to their resident cat being territorial. Kobe was cared for by this family and was fed and given a heated shelter. They reached out to us on Super Bowl Sunday during a snowstorm. He was crying to gain access into the home.
He has the longest legs we have ever seen on a cat, hence the name Kobe. He is a very sweet boy but can tend to be dominant with other cats. He did get along with the family’s large breed dog. His favorite thing to eat is turkey, canned or even better, fresh sliced.
Kobe is 2-3 years old, and he was already neutered when he was found. He is UTD on his vaccinations, has been tested for every internal parasite under the sun, has tested double negative for FELV and FIV, is microchipped and has had a full dental. He did have a cracked canine removed and this gives him a silly crooked smile at times. This boy loves his toys, especially catnip toys. He is quite the character.
