My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This big boy is Oliver! Oliver is 17 pounds of love and talk. He is about 6 years old (born in 2015) He is the sweetest boy ever and is always sure to say hello when someone comes into his room. He is not very loud but will let out a quiet mew to have a conversation with you. He loves kids but was having trouble adjusting to the newborn in his previous home so toddlers and up would be best. although he has never been around cats before, he is doing great in his cat colony room and making friends! Oliver has never been around dogs but since he has such an easy going attitude, we believe he would do just fine in a home with a quiet/calm dog. He loves to follow everyone around and is so curious about everything. If something is happening, you will probably find Oliver wandering over to check it out. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $53.25.

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid. Adoptions will stop a half hour before we close, at 5:30pm M-F and 3:30pm Saturday
