Scarlet is 1 year and 10 months old. She came into our shelter on December 14th, 2020 with a broken front leg. She has been here for 171 days. Scarlet is a shepherd mix and weighs 65 pounds. She loves all people, but may need to be placed in a home with older children because she plays rough and may knock young children over. Scarlet can be dog selective at times. We really can't see any pattern with this and I feel that removing her from the shelter environment will eliminate this negative behavior. She is curious about cats and may chase one if given the chance. Scarlet went through surgery and her broken leg was casted, Her leg has healed slightly crooked and as a result, she is a bit bow legged in the front. She will need to exercise regularly, but would not be a good candidate for an everyday jogger type of person because of the risk of re-injury. Scarlet is spayed and current on all vaccinations and microchipped. So if you are looking for a lovebug that loves to cuddle and just love's to go for rides in the car for ice cream then Miss Scarlet is for you. All this beautiful baby girl wants is a loving family and a home where she feels loved, please help her find her dream home.
SCARLET WOULD BE BEST IN A HOME WITH NO OTHER PETS.
