Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brewster's elderly owner could no longer care for him so he was surrendered to our shelter. Brewster is the sweetest little guy that's just looking for a home to retire to. Brewster can't see very well, mainly shadows and is deaf. He gets along very well and even goes outside to potty. He also is pee pad trained. However, given the fact that he is mostly blind, he will go potty in the house if given too much space. Belly bands would help with this problem. He doesn't seem to mind other animals as long as they are respectful of him and he is given time to adjust.
Brewster does not like to be confined to cages and will get very nervous. He would do best in a smaller area at home at least starting off. The new owner needs to give Brewster time to adjust and can't expect him to be comfortable after only a few days. He will take time but he is well worth it.
Brewster has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, received a dental and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $75 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
